The s. L. P snare drum in gloss black walnut is another gem of the sound lab project snare drum series from tama. Like all instruments of the popular series, the walnut snare has a very unique sound, which is characterized by a low basic sound with pronounced bass and mids. The 9 mm thick shell consists of 10 layers of walnut. The chrome plated shell hardware includes 10 tube lugs and tama sound arc hoops as well as a 30-strand snare wire which gives the tama snare its wonderful response and deep sound
